I’m using a Samsung Android device and my Access Pass isn’t working. What should I check?

If you’re using a Samsung Android phone, there are specific settings that can affect how your Access Pass functions. Here’s what you need to know:

Important Note for Samsung Users:

Samsung phones allow only one wallet app to be active for NFC (Near-Field Communication) at a time. For your Access Pass to work, you must set Google Wallet (Google Pay) as the default wallet on your device.

What You Should Do:

• Open your phone's Settings
• Go to Connections > NFC and contactless payments
• Ensure NFC is turned ON
• Tap Contactless payments and select Google Wallet (Google Pay) as your default payment app

Note: Access Pass does not work with Samsung Wallet. Be sure Google Wallet is selected as the default.

Once this is set up, open your Access Pass in Google Wallet or the Anytime Fitness App, and hold your phone near the door reader to gain access.
