If your Access Pass is inactive and not working at the door, please follow the steps below to check your membership status and reactivate your pass:
- Verify your membership status with your home club.
- If your membership is currently active, follow the troubleshooting steps below.
1. Update Your Phone
Make sure your phone’s software is up to date. If there’s an update available for iOS or Android, please install it.
2. Remove Your Access Pass
- Open your Wallet app.
- Find and open your Access Pass.
- Tap the menu (three dots or icon) in the top right.
- Select “Remove” to delete the pass.
3. Unlink Your Anytime Fitness App Account
- Open the Anytime Fitness app.
- Tap the profile icon (top right).
- Go to “Gym Membership.”
- Tap “Membership Linked” under App Details.
- Choose “Unlink” in the popup.
4. Relink Your Anytime Fitness Account
- Stay on the “Gym Membership” screen.
- Tap “Link Membership” and follow the steps to link your membership again.
5. Re-download Your Access Pass
- After relinking, you may be prompted to add your Access Pass back to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
- If not prompted, go to your profile in the Anytime Fitness app, and tap “Add to Wallet” next to AF Access Pass.
6. Enable Automatic Updates (iPhone Only)
- Open your Access Pass in the Wallet app.
- Tap the “More options” or “i” icon.
- Make sure “Automatic Updates” is turned on.
7. Try Scanning Your New Access Pass
- Open the Anytime Fitness app and tap AF Access Pass on the Plan screen, or
- Open your Wallet app and tap your Access Pass.
